In 2014, Zhigma Intelligence was founded out of a profound concern for the quality of research emerging from sub-Saharan Africa. We recognized a significant gap: researchers often lacked access to platforms that could guide them meticulously through the research process. Determined to address this, our journey began with a dedicated team of four individuals committed to making a difference.

Our initial efforts were voluntary, focusing primarily on supporting researchers in Nigeria, especially in Benin City. We collaborated closely with local hospitals, transforming disorganized data into valuable, actionable resources. This endeavor not only enhanced the quality of research but also paved the way for the digital transformation of healthcare institutions and various organizations.

As our impact grew, so did our team. From our humble beginnings, we have expanded to a robust team of over 20 professionals, each bringing unique expertise to our mission. Our commitment to capacity building is evident in the training of over 3,000 researchers in statistical epidemiology, research methodology, and scientific thinking. Furthermore, we have provided comprehensive statistical analysis and data management services to more than 5,000 clients, empowering them to make informed decisions based on solid evidence.
